you want to be careful removing leaves from autos. If they have plenty, you can get away with a few but once flowering starts you'll be wanting to remove any fan leaves blocking prime bud locations. This means you may want to save some lower growth in anticipation of this. If you overstress an auto then you will slow it down and it wont reach maturity. For this reason i wouldn't advise any high stress training but they thrive when LST is done correctly. Autos are commonly misconceived as easier but I think it's quite the opposite. They have a predetermined lifespan and you have to do everything you can to make it grow as quick as it can cos it already knows when it's going to die! I'd advise getting a pump action pressure sprayer. I use this to get under my low canopy after LST. Watering is a slow process this way but it sure does work. It also gives you a nice vessel to shake your water to mix all your nutes up. Hope this helps!

Saludos y bh!
