Hi there, You should only defoliate if there is a good reason.Like do some defoliation to lower down tent humidity,to make a good air flow if too bushy.Defoliate some leaves If they are damaged or shaded below the canopy.May be some lollipopping if there are too many pop corn buds underneath.Other than those, I wouldn’t do.Happy growing... ✌️

Northern Lights Auto, quite short and bushy, fan leaves shielding light - should I defoliate?First time grower with a quite short Northern Lights Auto in week 6. The fan leaves seem to shield a lot of light from the inner leaves, also touching ground. Should I trim the fan leaves? Too close to light I’m on week 2 of flower and I’m about 30cm from light. I can’t move the light any further up because of carbon filter am I better moving filter to higher light or start training top to the side I’ll gain about 25cm but how do I stop it getting taller this was taken 2 days ago
