Springtails in My DWC grow! I found some springtails in my reservoirs. Are they harmful or beneficial?

They are really hard to get "rid" off. depending on where you are. I have them in my smaller tent and they really do nothing.. The populations don't get too out of hand because when you change your water over you tend to wipe out a lot of the population. You can treat with h2o2 but they will most likely just be back in a couple days. They are fairly resilient buggers.. depending on size of plant.. They are nothing to be concerned about and in smaller populations are beneficial. I mean I usually use Great White microbes so they are most likely just feeding on excess materials.. Even if they were nibbling on the roots a bit.. It wouldn't be enough to cause any issues.

Weezy90 Yea dude they are just hanging out having a time lol :). I don't have em in my Larger tent so I don't even think they are that spready or mobile.. I also had them for another grow I had posted on here lol.. this grow was where I did the whole h2o2 thing.. I also was having other issues that weren't because of the springtails so I did all sorts of weird stuff lol. But in the end.. The little fucks came back.. Clean and sanitized in between grows and they are still in the reservoirs in the that tent. Iv'e learned to just be okay with it ha ha ha.. My impulse is too wipe them out but I mean if they aren't doing any harm.. Then really just let em do their thing :). They like the Cannabis too ha ha ha.

Hi !
Weg ermee, ze geven normaal gezien weinig problemen omdat ze zich voeden met schimmels, algen, bacteriën en dood plantmateriaal.
Maar soms gaan ze ook lekker gaan eten van de wortels, als er niets anders meer beschikbaar is.
Zorg ervoor dat je watergiften in orde zijn, dat je niet teveel geeft.
Want zoals Chow_13 zegt, droogte is voor hun een no go.
Kijk alles eens goed na.

They are harmless,they feed off dead matter in and around the roots,when u take them away from a water source they will die. I would be more concerned on what they are feeding on.

First Grow 4 weeks into Veg - Let my humidity get too high for 1 night. Need help with mold/septoria/?Last 3 days I've pruned diseased leaves every morning, foliar sprayed peroxide leaves & topsoil, & added some to watering solution. Is only affecting one plant in tent. Humidity no longer issue (was waiting 4 inline fan). If I keep pulling off leaves it's going to die anyway.

translucent pest in soilHi, last watering I've seen tiny translucent insects (about 1 mm) emerging from the soil. They are fast and can jump like a flea. I assume they live in soil. What are these little monsters, should I worry about them and what should I do ? TIA

best leaf insects repellentI have found a few bad insects on my plants past weeks. Does anyone have experience with neem oil? Is it worth a try or would I be better of buying something else?
White vinegar with dishsoap didn't help much.
