Organoman, I can tell you've misread this situation. No hard feelings. But it seems you don't mind this forum turning into another rollitup.com. Thats a pity, really. You rather let new growers fan through correct and incorrect answers, trying to find the answer on their own, testing and failing instead of corecting false answers. That's not what a Q&A is. As if my answers are my own "ideas". As if I'm too proud to admit my faults. Wow my guy. Instead of throwing every option in the mix and letting inexperienced growers pick one. Why don't we work together on a real solution. I think I remember a post specifically a day or two ago. A grower wanted to know what he could get to increase production. I said microbes but didn't realize he already had microbes. So when you advised a new light, I agreed. Collective knowledge is much better than individual reasoning. Thats why my answers are not me or my ideas. Their the collective knowledge of many growers that come together and work as a team. Bash me all you want, even try to bash me on tissue culture, You forget I was the one attacked and called out first. I was the one that was trying to be outshined and corrected by incorrect answers. You sir have no clue about the situation and your individual opinions are.. well worthless. Keep That rollitup.com bullcrap on that side of the fence

This is a forum to discuss ideas and share experiences. I doubt very much there are contributors that intentionally try and mislead other growers. Maybe some could lie about harvest results, but they are only kidding themselves. We are not trying to re-write the Bible through these Q&A interactions. Are you too proud to think some of your ideas could indeed be flawed or just plain incorrect? If you see things you disagree with, do you contribute and volunteer your time and effort to add another OPINION to the mix? Rather than moan, why not contribute? It is up to the question "askers" to take what they want from any responses. The answers are available to find without asking, however, they are seeking opinions from others based on their experiences with similar topics. This forum is not an instruction manual on how to grow cannabis. It is a forum open to anyone with the time and inclination to add some words based on their experiences. No one is being forced to do anything here, be it give opinions or follow suggestions. You say humans are selfish creatures. Are you not being a bit selfish yourself for attacking the right of others to express THEIR OWN OPINIONS? If you feel so strongly about this "misinformation superhighway", why not contribute with YOUR OPINIONS? To think there are conspiracies involved by deliberately giving incorrect answers that could possibly harm other peoples plants, is incredible! Every person in this discussion group/forum has vastly different views/experiences/techniques. Who is to say who is right or wrong? Opinions derived through what works/worked for a particular plant in a particular set of circumstances, is just that, an opinion and insight into what worked or didn't work. Anyone and everyone should be welcome and free to express their own opinion on whichever topic they choose. They should not be in fear of being run down by some sort of self appointed Overlord. Why not respect the right for free speech and let everyone have their say. If you feel some answers to be incorrect, don't just read them and think "WTF", add your own opinion. Rather than snipe from the side lines, why not contact the person/s and offer some constructive criticism and engage with them directly. Actually, the best solution is for you to add your own opinion to the mix, and to not worry about what others are expressing as THEIR OPINIONS. It all starts simple. Years ago I remember learning how to clone. Messing up with hydroponics. "I think most have tried and failed at first"lol their tough. Then moved on to more advanced things Like creating my own feminized seeds with colloidal silver and now recently I ran into whats called "tissue culture cloning" not necessarily something a home grower needs to know but I'm interested in learning how to do it. Theirs new things happening every year. From better formulated fertilizers to better designs in pots. I love growing with the industry and learning

Dito mate, I just pass on knowledge I've seen to work. If I don't know for sure I'll always say so, or put IMO. I started growin about 16-18 months ago, not had an empty tent since lol. When I started I thought autos went to 12/12 when they started flowering and a blue spec 125w cfl would get me through a full grow seed to harvest haha. You learn alot along the way and never stop picking up new tricks, I think of myself as an extreme hobbiest ; ) This was a good post mate and needed saying, bravo for having the balls to post it

Mr_cannabi1sir. Yep. I've been paying attention. If I remember correctly it seems like you know your stuff. I might of worded some things differently but im just a specific guy haha. I want to get to know everyone on this page. Seems a little dull and inactive meaning its kinda a tight net group. Uk420show, I completely understand that passion and love for it. Thats why ill fight for it. I'm my happiest in life when I'm explaining cannabis or helping growers. So to see others disrespecting it and trying to get a 1up from it without understanding it. It only upsets me. But I like how this site is setup. Full journal, questions page. I'll be staying around for a while. I want to see it keep growing.

I understand how you have come to that and yes most growers are selfish and Myself am always calling people out for lying about yields and times growing a plant to make them seem more skilled. Though where people go wrong is assuming they know everything about cannabis growing when that is pretty much impossible no matter your experience new ways and strains are being cultivated each day. Theres and old saying that seems appropriate to this and its one of my faves. A fool thinks himself a wise man yet the wiseman knows himself to be the fool. There are genuine people out there trying to help other growers, share phenos sending seedlings ect I know myself I have engaged with 2 growers on this site and sent out free seeds to them to help them grow as growers with my own money. I love cultivating cannabis and I would always encourage someone to take the leap and start cultivating to save them putting money in the dealers pocket. Though when you heart these growers saying these certain things and YOU KNOW they are incorrect Id like to think you simple dismiss the information and move on. I have alot of grower friends that I speak with and we have constructive disagreements all the time but its never personal. it can get fiery sometimes because your talking abouts peoples passions but overall I do think there is something to what your saying as I have had alot of hate and advantage taken of me when I was only trying to help. Some people when you show them an inch they take a mile its just the type of person they are. I think its a way of demeaning someone and trying to make them feel bad for not getting as good results as them and yes thats a problem that will never go away cause unfortunatly there are narrcacistic people in every hobby or passion learning to ignore them and do your own thing is part of these communities lol

Any people putting themselves out there trying to help. Bravo ya know? I'm happy people are engaging, helping each other. But yes. Mixed information and techniques leads to mixed results and an unsteady grow. I could go into a deep explanation but there's no point. This issue has been here for 100+ years and will never leave. Misleading information. Self-proclaimed professionals with years of knowledge that are still spitting out Misleading information. Tbh. Sometimes I believe growers are out to get each other.. Think about it. In a companies eyes. Why would I share my techniques so someone else can produce product as well as me. It's bad business correct? Well some little guys think like that too, with God complexes. You're neighbors don't like that your yard looks better than there's. Humans are selfish creatures. So selfish they bring it to grow websites and infect beautiful sites like this.

What the hell happened here ? Erm I understand what your saying. What I will say in these growers defense who ever they are. Myself I answer alot of grow questions and I try my hardest to be backed up with articles or books I have read that justify a certain answer I have given though every grower grows cannabis plant differently and alot of growers use tactics that other growers will disagree with yet they have been using them years and they work for them. Which is exactly my point something that works for one grower may not work for the next which is where alot of this misinformation originates from. It's not really misinformation its different technique's that have worked for growers in the past so they try and pass them on so they work for you but most of the times the environmental differences with each individuals set up not two plants will ever grow the same in different environment's. I mean each grower who answers a question or gives advice is trying to help you. I would like to think that people do not intentionally sabotage others grows with poor advice. Ultimately its up to the grower of that certain plant to listen to advice or not its not law and everyone cultivates differently.
