Pink Lighting to Germinate?

It's not really a problem during veg, but it will make the veg a bit slower , the stretch a bit more, and a few other issues like spacing between the leafs and the nodes, etc. what i ask people is like : what color is the sun? that's the best color for the plant. it's simple really... you can even do a light combo between LED and Metal halide or an FL and try to basically make your own spectrum. For proper germination, seeds need complete darkness and plants do not need light until they are "born" and break through the surface of the substrate. However, if it is extremely cold where you are during the germination phase, lights can provide additional warmth that can stimulate germination, but generally it is the need for complete darkness and no lighting for best germination.
