This is false, It is a risky technique, sure, but you can defoliate autoflowers, I do it almost every grow and I specifically grow autoflowers. As long as you remember to remove the leaves in the vegetative stage, and not go all crazy and remove every fan leaf, you'll be good.

True. Any healthy green leaves you remove will reduce your plants capacity to produce energy and will slow growth, something you do not want to occur with autos and their limited time in vegetative growth. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

That is a tricky question. There are times and places to defoliate. Some may need to be defoliated while others don't ever need it. I would say you can only if needed.
