Harvesting time and Jewellers loupe

Hi guys. I would like to know if there any visual tips for examining when its time to harvest? I know that you need to look for the cloudy pistols in order to determine that it is ready. However even with a jewellers loupe I struggle to tell the stage of the trichomes.

I'm a new grower but I've heard to check the trichomes on the bud first not the sugar leafs as they mature first, should be about 90% amber and 10% milky start flushing for 7-10 days for a good high and flush when 100% amber for a more couch feeling 🤔 hope this helps bro 🙏👍✌️ I'm in week 8 flower tomorrow 🌻🙏👌👍 take care bro 👍

Two questions: I am clueless about nutritions. i give 0.4 ml bloom and 0.16 micro per/l every two and a half days. in 3 of my plants only 2 small cola has severe nute burn. is it too much. i'll upload the photo of a cola that has very strange shape and dropped leaves whats it?

What to do before harvest?I've been planning to chop my girl in 2 days (sunday), been flushing since 1.04 and watered yesterday (thursday) for last time. 2 hours after changing nutrients we have noticed the stains on leaves with some leaves wilting & drooping. As ph,ec & air/water temperatures are within range, oxygenation and circulation are good, what could be the problem:too much UV ? a fan blowing DIRECTLY on the plants? tx

Best way to cure your harvest? Any tips or best practices would handy. I know I need mason jars and humidity packs and a dark place. I read I should leave the plant alive but in total darkness for 3 days before I harvest? I am so confused, but I know curing is very important.

Have you ever seen a correlation between smell and taste ?If it has good smell, do you expect a good taste, or do you just expect to what the seedbank says about the taste of the genetic? What about F1 which has a lot of different phenotype? If once plant has a distinctive smell compared to the other, will she also have a better taste?

Drying temps I’m close to being ready for harvest. My temps in my tent run from 78 degrees due the day and 72 at night. The lowest I was able to get it was 70. Would 72 degrees dry too fast? I’m in an apartment ok the second floor so cool spots are unavailable especially during the summer.
