Harvesting time and Jewellers loupe

Hi guys. I would like to know if there any visual tips for examining when its time to harvest? I know that you need to look for the cloudy pistols in order to determine that it is ready. However even with a jewellers loupe I struggle to tell the stage of the trichomes.

I'm a new grower but I've heard to check the trichomes on the bud first not the sugar leafs as they mature first, should be about 90% amber and 10% milky start flushing for 7-10 days for a good high and flush when 100% amber for a more couch feeling π€ hope this helps bro ππβοΈ I'm in week 8 flower tomorrow π»πππ take care bro π

Bad taste buds - curing needed !After 8 days of drying I had to put the buds into jars and to keep them closed for 2 weeks until yesterday when I made a 1st test and the taste is very bad but I don't see any mold..how can I cure them? The smell is very strong but not stinky, is it too late? :/

The growth is pathetic, its around 80 days old but has been grown under a weak cfl for the last 4 weeks aswel as being topped. I had the exactly the same strain under a ok LED and that finished looking good about 3 days ago
