Help with sending

I’m having Problem with some my seedling sprouting and opening up I’m using self watering cones found out that the water that Darins off soaks back into them so I guess I’m having a problem with over watering them I took out a lot of wet soil added some more dryer soil anD truned

Those types of pots are really not as good as they may seem, they don't breakdown easily, restricting the roots severely. Seeds need constant moisture to germinate, but once they do, they will open up on their own and in their own time, it doesn't really matter if they take a day or three to open up properly. I suggest using black plastic pots, about 4 inches across and 5 inches deep as being ideal for starting seedlings. They provide enough room for about 3 weeks growth and enough room for good root development. With careful use any cleaning between crops, will last for many years.

These days horticultural soils are enough oxygenated. Plus the Perlite in your soil mix helps to keep it oxygenated. Overwatering happens when you pour water everyday on your plants during many days.
