No, this will severely limit the amount of energy such a small plant can make, severely limiting growth potential.
Even worse if you are only giving them 12/12.
Your plant NEEDS every one of its leaves to make the energy she needs to grow her biggest and fastest.
Removing even one or two leaves would be a huge reduction in leaf coverage, percentage wise, leading to an even bigger percentage of slowed growth.
Removing any leaves would be a big mistake in my opinion, especially considering you are only giving 12/12 and using a relatively inefficient blurple light, two factors already putting your baby plant under enormous pressure.
Going to 18/6 or even 16/8 or 15/9, would accelerate this plants growth dramatically, getting you a harvest much sooner.
Growing at 12/12 is a bit like trying to get drunk on lite beer, you possibly can, but what an effort!
Just remember -
Maximum amount of healthy green leaves = maximum energy production = maximum growth.
It can be no other way.
