I would wait until the new branches have grown at least 2-4 nodes before topping the branches again.

For mainlining, (as long as the plant is healthy) you can top again after you see 3-4 nodes on each new main branch, you only need to take the top node.

Topped the same way with 2 different results?? First time growerI tried to top 2 plants in the same way but one main shoot stopped growing, but the other had two new growths come right out of the old stem, as well as 2 bushier side stems.
I am just wondering what I did differently and if both plants should work out fine.

just topped my girls ; when to change pots ?Hi everyone !
i topped my girls for 1st time in 3 years of growing (auto, so LST was enough ; i now try photo)
i did it in week 4, when they reach 10-11cm and 4 internodes. they are in 3L pots.
my question : how many time must i leave them rest befor changing to 14L pots ?
