How long do I keep the humidity domes on for? My seeds have just sprouted through the soil. Only about an inch or so tall.

Seedlings are very sensitive take dome off as soon as there are at least 2 main leaves ready for photosynthesis, the highhhh humidity of a dome will actually restrict growth by closing stomata at humidity above 65. Just make sure to keep an eye and if any stress appears wean the dome off over time.

Hello Surettek999 you can remove it now because your seed comes out. Now it will grow normally. Just use the good distance with your light to not let your plant stretch too much. Good luck. Bye

Sprouting delay. How long do I wait? Are lights on and fans running important while waiting for germinated seeds to sprout? I lightly water the medium.Germinated autos by paper towel method, & put them in soil 2 days ago. The still haven't sprouted out of the soil. How long should I wait? I've always gone from root cube directly to 3-gallon pots. I can't compare the difference with transplanting from solo cups because I don't have any experience. Have any of you found a significant advantage to adding an extra transplant? I figure 3-gallon pots aren't THAT big.
