Do I need to feed liquid nutes during this grow? They're in soil which claims to be water only but recommended 7 gallons and they're in 3 gallon containers. Big plant has slight N toxicity on leaves. I have fox farm trio on hand, should I start 1/4 strength? Just big bloom? Wait?

@DrFriendlyFriend Hi mate No I would not add any more nutrients to what seems to already pretty hot soil your using especially if you have a nitrogen toxicity problem. I would continue feeding with plain water until the last 2 weeks of flowering and then you add a little molasses in with the water to help sweeten those buds Hope this answers your question mate

Some photos that aren't purple would help anyone determine any problems in your plant. From what we Can see is that they have plenty of nitrogen and probably not enough pk. So as suggested by the other growers, flush one heavily and keep feeding with water for a week or two and then add a pk booster. And molasses does help feed the soil sugars and carbohydrates but also adds small amount of minerals (which isn't a bad thing)

Hello friend :-) problem is with store bought pre amended is they are rarely adapted to the cannabis plant because these gens need different NPK ratios at different times for example 6-2-2 in veg and 2-6-6 in flower. What you really want/need to do is readjust the ratio so that the plant gets what it needs which is more pk. So what you may want to do is water with plain water until runoff then add 20% more water - that's your flush! Then one more plain water watering and then you go and refertilise at 1/4 to 1/2 strength and follow a strict water water feed water water feed schedule. Or the easiest thing you can do is try not to fertilise and add a PK boost when the buds are about the size of your thumb hoping that eventually the soil ratios will balance out... Main thing to avoid is burning your plants at this critical junction and even the flushing could stress them out. Hope this helps ! 🚀
