Do trichomes always change colour??

Dudders
Duddersstarted grow question 3 years ago
My buds are almost ready... Calyxes swollen, sugar leaves are yellowing, she's using less water and pistils receding... But the trichomes still look very immature. Should I continue to wait for the trichomes or is the rest of the plant telling me that the time is nigh?

İf everything is just like you stated,it sounds like harvest time.go by the visual signs.you wont probably feel the difference between now and one week later and it will still be processing the stuff in branches after harvest, for some little more time.its never early to chop a plant if buds are swollen and sugar leaves are yellowing.i dont go by trichomes honestly.it just satisfies me when i see milk white trics, confirming that i should harvest, thats all.

Always a good idea to do a little research on your strain. All trichs will go from clear to cloudy, but some plants, if you wait for them to amber some, you could be waiting until the cows come home. When their mostly gone cloudy, that is the top thc she will provide. When you let them amber, it's the effects that change. So if your near ready and you don't see any amber trichs on any of the older sugar leaves., chances are they won't amber.

If the rest of the plant is saying harvest me then do it. Sometimes some strains trichomes don't show maturity.
