buds appearing early?

Edenoftheworld
Edenoftheworldstarted grow question 3 years ago
The branches appear to be budding even though the plant hasn't been in 12 hrs of consistent darkness--the light has stayed the same the whole time. Is that a problem? Should I flip it into flower since the buds are growing? Id prefer to get a bit more vegetation from it.

So here's a thought--initially this plant was grown fairly tall without any trimming, and the plant was sufficiently lush that maybe the top leaves were shading out the bottom leaves? Could that trigger a switch into flower in the bottom leaves? Thanks for everyone's thoughts so far.

If the packet doesn't say auto then I'm not sure, she definitely not behaving right for a fem. I would leave your lights on 18hrs then and see what happens.

I'm pretty sure it's not an auto, these are purchased seeds and the package doesn't say auto anywhere. If I leave it in 18 hr light, will that burn the buds?
