If you want to see an example of mainlining you could have a look at my Kushberry X Gorilla bomb or Violator Kush diary, I mainlined both of those plants, BUT they were both regular fem seeds, not autoflowers, autoflowers DO NOT like being topped, they grow to fast to handle the stress and recover properly

Topping autoflowers is not a good practice, they don’t handle the stress well. Also, mainlining is a method of topping the plant multiple times to create more main colas, so really both of Bravehearts methods are not good for you. Low stress training is the practice of tying the plant down to keep a lower more spread out canopy as opposed to vertical and tall. For a small plant with assuming a small thin main stem, I would tie a lower portion of the plant to one side of your container, and tie the top of the container to the opposite side, causing they plant to lay in an upside down L shape. Have a decent feel while you do so as the main stem is flexible but it could snap.

Mainlining is fairly low stress as you are only bending branches down to spread her canopy. Topping while doing this can be very effective in increasing overall yield
