My question is what type of seed is better? Auto female, regular, or feminized seeds? I chose feminized seeds for my very first grow. I’m contemplating buying auto female seeds for my next grow. Or should I just stick with feminized seeds? Thanks

Regulars are technically the stronger plant, but you have to separate the males and females when they start to sex. Males usually turn first. Fem are good genetically but can be sensitive you environmental changes causing them to self pollinate. Auto I think are still unstable, still having to introduce genetics to keep her auto but great for a small space and perpetual harvests. But I never have much luck with autos. Always seem to feed them too much. I hope this helps, good luck

I personally hate autos and wouldn't grow them ever again indid same has mentioned 1 tent autos 1 tent photos most I gor from 1 auto plants was 13g I know photos take longer but I would rather wait and have better quality and quantity that you get with the photos and it's upto you and your area and how fast you want them down autos are a lot quicker but has I said I don't like them happy growing

Hey there, Feminized are guaranteed to be female which is what give you the flower and are always the best they say. I've never tried regular but i beleive they are seeds which the sex is unknown. I've always gotten great results with autos however keep in mind autos only grow 36" to 42" unless you go with XL autos. Also there is no photo period so you leave lights on 18 hours a day for the entire grow. Hope this helps!!

Any autos I have ever grown turn out like fluffy bud. Big buds, but fluffy. Not the type of weed I like putting in my grinder and mashing up. Even feels different/fluffy rolling it. I don't waste anytime with autos anymore. To use to rock hard bud, that is even tough to get into the grinder. I also find them not near as potent. Personal choice I guess.

Thats a decision only you can make. Personally if you have started with photoperiod I would get a few grows of them done before trying autos. Good luck

It’s up to you and what is more your style. Photoperiod plants you control when they go into flower and autoflower plants just do what they want regardless of light schedule. There is no one better than the other when it comes to it being feminized photos or autos. Regular seed just means it has a better chance of being a male plant. But it’s not to say that a seed labeled as feminized can be a male. People make mistakes when packaging sometimes. With so much choice out there. Just pick something that you think you’re gonna love and go for it. My next run is gonna be some autos. I want to try it out as well. I’m just finishing up 8 months of doing photos so time to change it up a bit. Good luck friend 🤙
