1 inch seedling under a humidity dome sprayed with water in a 24x24x36 Vivosun tent. I’m using a mars hydro ts 600 watt led which is 21 inches above my seedling (small tent). Do I downgrade to my 150 watt ufo light until I can do LST? This mars led is definitely warming up things

Remove the dome asap, cannabis does not need extra high humidity, it is not a rain forest plant! She needs good air to grow properly, leaving her under a dome can lead to fungal problems, stretching and the chance of getting cooked. Spraying cannabis plants with water is not beneficial. Cannabis is a tough, hardy plant that can cope with much adversity, it is not a dainty, delicate princess perfect type of plant. Again, this notion of high humidity is an old hippy myth from the 1960s when no one knew much about cannabis and people thought it came from the tropical jungles of Vietnam. Most Indicas come from arid semi desert regions like Afghanistan, Morrocco, Pakistan and most Sativas come from low land dry zones in equatorial countries and is grown exclusively in the "dry season. Big light + humidity dome + spritzing = sweat lodge. This is probably the worst environment for healthy development. The big light at 24 inches will be fine if you remove the sweat lodge.

What about this guidance ? Week 1 growing: RH 80% Week 2 growing: RH 70% And keeping the temperature around 68-74 degrees F has been my second marker. I have put moist towels in my tent and will switch them out daily. I understand that they could benefit from humid air and proper ventilation. Do y oh have any articles I can read on arid climates and cannabis; or low RH grow literature perhaps? This advice just goes against everything I’ve read thus far and want to learn!

I’ll remove the dome once the leaves show at the end of this week and I’ll water only the soil for now on. I installed a computer fan that’s acting as exhaust until my fan is installed.

It's not 600 W lamp !!! It's 100 only, that's echos of old market tricks, when model name was mistakenly taken as power. One light is more than enough, keep second for for watts during flower, she will love it ! All the Best !

Do you not have air circulating though the tent to vent out the heat from the ballast? could turn the inline fan on low if one is installed. I would be careful spraying the seedling with water when the light is that close. It could burn it. The humidity dome should be sufficient in keep RH up and the sprout happy. I would remove it after a week though. can create a bad environment for molds to grow. If the RH is still low after its removed can use other options for boosting RH in the tent. Good Luck!
