Can I continue to tie down LST'd stem to horizontal or is there increased risk of breakage?

I tied down seedling plants 24hrs ago and they have straightened out much more quickly than I thought. My plan was to have the tied down stem elongate past the rim of the pot then allow it to grow vertical. Can I continue to straighten the stem 😄 or are they set like Jello? 😔

She should be fine as long as you check on her daily and keep her tied down as she goes 👍

You can keep going. As it puts out new growth just adjust the ties on it to incorporate the new stuff as well. It gets tricky when all the side branches get involved. Good Luck!

Just keep adding some staples to keep holding it down as it keeps growing. You’ll eventually make it to the edge of the pot. May take 3-4 staples along the way. Cheers 🤙
