I like to do it when the seed cracks and just the tip is sicking out like a little nose. Some like to do it when the roots longer but I feel that's a bit more risky for damaging it. Good Luck!

Hey Growmie, It's recommended to transplant your seedlings as soon as the root emerges or once it's about 1/2 inch long. Hopefully this was helpful and I wish you nothing but success on your future endeavors.

Is growth normally this slow for seedlings? Germination issue - fastbuds auto cheese - why are the taproots taking so long to show?10 auto cheese seeds - 24 hours cup of water - tapped down, then 24 hours bottom of the glass, they pop and then 24 to 48 hours in damp paper sheets within two plates. has worked 100% of the time previously. 72 hours now - why so slow? whats wrong here? short taproot? thanks!
