Got this plant about a day ago. I don't know the strain but it's a sativa male. The leaves are beginning to curve down and black stripes are appearing . I just watered it yesterday for the first time myself. Any tips or next steps would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you are using this male plant for pollination, toss it! Males produce no flowers ( BUDS ). Girls are where it's at. Good Luck!

Why get a male plant? Do you want to make seeds and pollinate a female plant has males don't produce buds to smoke

First question is why you want to grow a male plant? Leaves clawing like that could be over- or underwatering or nitrogen toxicity.... black stripes could be fungus... I'd pitch it, myself. Good luck!
