Looks almost like root rot. Check if the roots are mushy. Are you using humates? The negative charged particals stick to roots.

I'm new to DWC and growing all together , but I'm pretty sure that voodoo juice have a humates in it , wtf mushy roots means ?

I'm using AN MGB , vodoo juice and b52 ,root riot cubes , hydroton , I do have serious pH fluctuations , due to bad ( 8,5 pH , 088 ppm ) water and really small containers which are filled only with 1,4 l solution

Looks like rot, roots should be healthy white. Is there any odour?

Brownish red algae like substance in DWC within 48 hrs- plants look great thoI’ve done DWC several times, not a newbie. Getting pH spikes from 6.0 to just under 7.0 in 48 hrs, and an algae like dark brown/reddish substance within 48hrs as well. New stones, black buckets, 950 GPH pump feeding 1 stone per bucket. Net pots covered with cardboard. What gives?

Persistent issues - wilted leaves, light-green splotches, brown rootsMy plant has these issues. I've rinsed off the roots in case it was nutrient buildup on roots, which I still believe to be the case. I have given this plant a good amount of nutrients the week before. Does this appear to be a deficiency? Any ideas?

Should I quit, and start over? Still not out if it's root rot or just coloration from the larvea. Hydroponicshad larvea infestation. Used h2o2, 2 days later my roots looked like photo #1. Now 4 days later, same roots look like #2. Had pH problems. lowered now. Gon look if its stable tomorrow. They should be ready to flip now. All other pics are also from today. Should I continue?

Is this a sign of root rot? How to save the plant?2 weeks after germination: the base of my plant's stem has a dark color which I think may be root rot. The rest looks very healthy. How can I make sure it is rot? Is peroxide/water solution really helpful if that's the problem?

Hello, problems hydro. Roots are turning brown and i can not identify if its a rot or not. besides of colour it is not slimy and i can not feel any strong smell coming from water. whem i wash roots with shower it becomes white again but in few hours it turnsback to brown. temp25C

Root rot even using a little water. Can't help It!In my second try I still had troubles with root rot by overwatering issues. This time I waited even 3/4 between waterings (half liter for plant) but soil never ever dried properly. Next time I'll use Light mix, grow shop pots and practice patience. How long before they die ?2 of them getting yellower by the day, 3 or 4 of them lost their roots under the pot and they come off very easily. Color is very dark but no slime or foam. It's too bad : I had only 2 weeks and 2 days remaining. Any idea ?
