Harvest time

BoPeep
BoPeepstarted grow question 2 years ago
Different plants have different flowering time. Lemon tree harvest time is 70 days. Flowering time is 56-63 days. So my vegetation/LST was 4 weeks. Then the harvest time is 10 weeks from the time i switch lights from 18/6 to 12/12, correct?

You will need to let the plant tell you when it is time to harvest.. the length of time that seed banks give to harvest is always an estimate and may not bear any relation to what is real... the time will depend largely on the conditions surrounding your particular grow. You'll see the plant start to "fade" and the pistils turning brown.... if you have a microscope or a jewelers loupe, you can look at the trichomes to see if they're ready (all milky with 10% or so amber)... that OUGHT to happen in the time frame estimated but you may also have to go several weeks past that time... Good luck! Please click on the grower's name that is answering your question to see their profile. There are fake accounts being created to look EXACTLY like real accounts - but they're easily identified by doing this ... the only ones affected by this troll are m0use and myself at this point.

High BoPeep, Yes around 10 weeks from when you switch to 12/12 But most of the times you need to add 1 or 2 more weeks from the time that the breeder is saying!!! Happy Growing! 😋

The suggested manufacturer times of when the plants are done are exactly that, suggested, they can sometimes go longer and other shorter. I find they are almost always within a week or two though from my experiences growing in soil. The times I have seen them go longer is when they are grown in Hydro under perfect conditions. The harvest time will depend on the effects you want from the plant. I like to use the trichomes as an indactor of when its good to chop. little to no amber and the rest cloudy is my preferred time. Some users like a lot more amber as it gives a more sedative high and couch lock feel to it. You are correct in amusing it is that many weeks from switching to 12/12 for estimated harvest time. Autos are the exception and they list the entire life cycle of the plant from seed to harvest. They are wildly unpredictable sometimes and can finish in a month if gown poorly or go over by 8+ weeks. Good Luck! === Seems I have a fake troll account trying to cause shit by emulating me. They even went as far as to copy my profile picture and response to there troll lol. Flowering doesn't start when you switch but when first sign of flowers appear. Normally 5-7 days after the switch.

So far so good, Congrats! Here are some fun articles to read on LST and HST basics. growdiaries.com/journal/how-to-do-low-stress-training-lst-on-cannabis-plants growdiaries.com/journal/how-to-do-high-stress-training-hst-on-cannabis I like a combination of LST and HST with photoperiods but your doing autoflowers so I would keep to LST for now. You may find using pipe cleaners are an easier option with some binder clips on the side of the growing bucket. Good Luck! === Seems I have a fake troll account trying to cause shit by emulating me. High BoPeep, Best way to check if they are ready for harvest is to look at the trichomes with a x60 pocket microscope. They are really cheap (like 10 dollars) and can be really handy when you grow cannabis. You can use them to identify pests and to check the trichomes when the plant is ready for harvest at full potency. I will send you a link from the Dutch Passion website where they explain how to look at the trichomes with pictures. So that you can learn how you need to look at the trichomes. It is easier to understand with pictures then just explaining it here in the comments. Here is the link: https://dutch-passion.com/en/blog/what-are-cannabis-trichomes-and-how-do-they-affect-your-smoke-n986 Happy Harvest! 😋

Your harvest time is when I say it is, if you are lucky enough to have kept your diary fully updated, I MAY answer. Jokes, mQuse is right, plus at what stage of trichrome ripeness do you want? Milky is up, more Amber more couch time and degraded thc. Nature doesn't do timetables, nice looking grow. Seems I have a fake troll account trying to cause shit. They even went as far as to copy my profile picture lol. Please hit complain and report this to Growdiaries if you see someone. DON'T CLICK THEIR PROFILE LINK AS THEY MAY HACK YOUR ACCOUNT 😱
