I am using General Hydroponics trio (FloraGro, FloraBloom, FloraMicro as well as CalMag). My ppm is currently at 700. The grow chart says I should be between 950 - 1400 but was told to use 1/2 of that. I would like another opinion on what my ppm should be at 29 days old.

My ppm in my 70l veg tub, I keep around 800-900 at that stage of growth, starting water has 115ppm so I'm adding about 750-825 ppm of nutes, and pH at 5.8-6.3. My girls are loving it... Complete water change after adding 70 l of water during topups. Cheers! DWCHC👍👈

Much like the others have said, with no signs of nutrient burn (or deficiency), I wouldn't change a thing. One thing to note about ppm values is the conversion factor (.5 vs .7), since they are all just conversions from EC. I use Dyna-gro nutes and their suggested ppm values indicate "on a .5 scale", but I'm not sure about GH Trio. Plus your ppm values will be affected by your base ppm (RO vs Tap). Anyways, you're doing a bang-up job and I wouldn't change anything until your ladies indicate otherwise. Happy Growing!

Yes you are doing it right. I don't see any signs of overfeeding they look healthy. Always start at half of what manufacturer recommends. And a good reference for ppm range with your system would be to start at 400ppm and Max at 1000 ppm. Youll get great results

The chart is only a recommendation. And possibly the highest amount you should give, i see those charts as a maximum. Some strains need more nutrition than others so your way to give only 50% of the chart is a good way to see how much your strain really needs. As i can´t see any malnutrition, no overfeeding, no underfeeding you done this right. Only raise your ppm if you see any deficits. Well done so far.

Hi @WoodRooster! Your plant looks great, almost dark green, this means she had enough nutrients and don't need more Nitrogen yet. Remember to slowly decrease N intakes the week before you trigger the flowering stage, this will prevent a big stretch and help roots to focus on P&K to maximize bud-sites and expand flowers later. Half of the recommended doses was the right way to go. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information. Happy growing! 👊

Hey! I just started using the GH series and noticed the PPMs run higher than my other feeds. I have used botanicare and rarely do I get above 600 PPMs, if I do, I start to burn the plants. Watch how the plants react. Your plants right now look extremely healthy, Check the PPMs and if they are rising, then you are overfeeding, if they are lowering then its an underfeed.
