I am a bit worried about the early oranging of the flower pistols, I have adjusted cal mag should I continue as normal and put progression down to pre existing deficiency now showing down the road? Certain branches/budsites showing amber pistols in first couple of weeks of flower
Cal/mag is not the answer to everything and it has no affect on the pistils.
The picture in your diary of the bud with browning pistils looks to me like a flower that has been pollinated more than anything else.
Check thoroughly for male flowers/bananas.
It looks like it is getting too warm or not enough air circulation. Possibly both. Light might be too close as well contributing to this. Not enough information in your diary for best answer.
I have always seen this as a sign of overfeeding. In my experience through the years, pistols stay vibrant 5 to 6 weeks of actual flowering if the ec in the planters is maintained at the proper levels. Easier to manage in soiless grows though
