In my 1x1x2 tent I have a skyelectric v180 lamp and a 400W HPS. The HPS is dead and I would like to add another led lamp. What could I add to the skyelectric v180? Thanks for the replies

Do what you feel like. HPS is cheaper in the short term/expensive long term, LED'S more expensive in short term/cheaper in long term. Check out the Migrow guy on youtube, he does a lot of light reviews and cost point annalist breakdowns. www.youtube.com/c/migrolight I myself like LED's

you need a total power of about 300 watts. this will be enough. I would advise MarsHydro ts1000 or ts2000

Add another v180 or you can always just upgrade to a bigger LED light that covers the whole space. You have lots of options and lighting technology is advancing quickly. I would suggest buying a new bar style light LED that will cover the whole grow space on its own. Keep the v180 as a back up or clone light or mother light.

With a open question like this you will get so many different answers that are just based on prefference. Growers have 1 great result with a lamp and think that this is the best lamp in the world without trying other lamps. I would look at the lamp section on this website and make your own decision based on the results, yields and costs. Compare your most favorite ones to eachother and do some research. I do the same with nutrients and seeds. You better do some research than just blind following others. Here is the link from the lamp section: growdiaries.com/grow-lights
