Yes, the more amber trichomes will give you couch lock kinda high, and yes if you get too many amber trichomes you will have decreased THC level.

Should I do a pre harvest defoliation a week before harvest?What are the benefits and consequences of defoliating a week before harvest? Is it good or bad? I'm unsure how wet the bottom of the bucket is 30 days later.
