Hello, My room is 100x100x200 cm with 2 holes at the bottom and 3 at the top. (400 watt hps lamp) I ordered a 6 inch 350 CFM extractor and i understand how to install it. But how should I make my air inlet ? this is my first grow room

the extraction goes up where the hot air goes down below it's better to put a fan for intake as for the swollen box, as they wrote, it's not good because if you have odor issues, it would be much more noticeable plus, stagnant air pockets form and circulation isn't optimal anyway, in the hole below, you should put a fan with a lower airflow than the output

I personally use carbon filters for both my intake and exhaust. I use slightly more intake pressure so the tent is poofed out just a bit. When you press on an outer side wall of the tent it should slightly spring back out. This positive pressure will prevent pests and dust from getting sucked in through seems and openings. I filter the exhaust to prevent my home from smelling like cannabis flowers. I have a 6" inline fan and carbon filter for intake and a 4" inline fan and carbon filter for exhaust. Both inline fans have potentiometers and the ability for speed control so I can dial in the positive pressure.

You can use a small Inline-Fan with half the m3 of the exhaust fan in one lower hole. Hope this helps
