What additional supplies do you use to help with your germination process?

I didn't pH the water from the faucet, and I could only get my germination tray to warm up to approximately 75F but i still was able to see a pop from this one girl, and we are off. Do you definately suggest a heatmat for next time?

I use hydrogen peroxide, but not in rockwool cubes, but glass of water :) It helps to soften the seed shell and provides additional oxygen. I add 2 ml of 3% H2O2 into 100 ml of soft water. My current seeds cracked within 16 hours at 65F temperature. When using rockwool cubes you don’t need anything except buffering pH as GMSgrows mentioned. Heating mat can cook the roots. Be careful.

Temperature above 20 degrees and keep the seed moist (not wet). That is all they need! 😋

I never use a heatmat except on clones in a bubbler. You should soak your cubes in the proper ph water for a night before placing seeds. This is buffering your rockwool. You set it the same ph as your substrate that you will be using. No big deal that you didn't, but with the larger cubes, if you ever use them, I would buffer first.
