Limit light in greenhouse to induce flowering

Will the some limitation of light in the morning and evening help my PP plants going into their flowering phase?
We are currently having days lasting well over 17 hours in my region, so they need some help. I can't afford a blackout tarp, so I was wondering if this could work?

The tips yellowing indicates, a nitrogen burn.
The burnt brown tip indicates, nitrogen burned to long 😂

Lower lighting at switch to 12/12?Do you typically want to lower your lighting when you switch to 12/12?
I'm a little confused about what is meant when they say to have a 12" light distance for flowering and 18" for veg. Does that mean lower to 12" at the switch to 12/12, or just maintain a min 12" distance?6y ago

The strain is Banana by Zamnesia at flowering day 40 / week 6
If so, how to proceed?

Re veg quest.Why she show new pistil even after 2weeks at 18/6.i fear a weak long perpetual bloom or useless veg until mid Aug(shy reveg deformed/new grow)Afterwrong Light cycle 12/12 for 4 week i decided to re veg my euphoria.Now 2 week at 18/6 despite new steams growth from budsites she continue to show pistils.
