GMSgrowsanswered grow question 6 months ago I do one seed per planter and plant a couple of extra planters incase one or two don't pop. I always plant pointy and up. Root pops from there and does a u turn heading back down inside the planter. The open part were root came from will then pull itself off the plant head as it heads upwards. Seeds that are not planted with the pointy end up, have a hard time kicking off the shell and many times, will still have the seed attached to the cotlydon when they finally pop, or if they even do.
