Lowering the Light after topping to speed up recovery.

After topping 2 days ago, I sorted a plant out last night. The leaves were still drooping a little on all the plants, but the one that was outside the growbox is already looking strong again. Has anyone tried lowering the light for a few days after topping to speed up recovery?

You need bigger pot.. light has nothing to do with recovery if you lower u will just burn the plant

I agree, don't do it. just let it recover on its own. It will do fine.

More light intensity will only further add to the stress the plant is already under from the topping. I would just maintain the same environment it's been used to. Changing things will only serve to stress it out more in an already stressed state. 300 to 500 PPFD is all you need in veg.

Vegging does not require intense lighting. It actually slows down growth, because the plant does not have to grow as much to catch the light it needs. I think you are providing too much light in vegging.
