Hey Buddy When harvesting, ignore the leaves as much as possible.
Trichomes on sugar leaves turn cloudy and amber earlier than the ones on the calyx (the actual flower). That’s where most beginners get tricked.
So:
• Sugar leaves = misleading
• Calyx trichomes = truth serum 😄

Our philosophy (and he can choose his own)
There’s no single “right” harvest day. It’s all about effect preference.
🌱 Clear trichomes
• Plant still producing cannabinoids
• Effects: anxious, racy, unfinished
• Flavor: green, sharp
➡️ Too early
☁️ Cloudy / milky trichomes
• THC at its peak
• Effects: euphoric, energetic, creative
• Flavor: loud, terpy
➡️ This is where we personally aim
🍯 Amber trichomes
• THC degrading into CBN
• Effects: heavy body, sedative, couch-lock
• Flavor: deeper, sometimes flatter
➡️ Great for sleep meds, not everyone’s daily smoke
CBN is not “bad” it’s just different.
More amber = more narcotic.

What I see here (and why I’d wait)
From what’s visible:
• Lots of clear to early cloudy
• Very little true amber on calyx
• Pistils still active, not fully receded
• Buds still swelling
That tells me:
👉 The plant is still stacking weight and resin
👉 Harvesting now would leave potency and flavor on the table

About stopping fertilizer (important!)
Stopping nutrients ≠ harvesting tomorrow.
What I’d suggest:
• Let the plant finish
• When trichomes are mostly cloudy:
• Then stop feeding
• Optional light fade / water only
• Harvest 7–14 days later, depending on response
Flushing doesn’t “fix” timing — timing fixes flushing.
Ultimately it’s your call, some people harvest earlier for a more uplifting high, others later for heavier effects. I personally like harvesting when trichomes are mostly cloudy with just a touch of amber, and from what I see, your plant isn’t quite there yet.
