Hi Hammers, If the seedling is healthy, I also do LST in the first weeks (for photoperiods of course). Just give her time to recover from the first bending, and then keep training step by step. Also avoiding overwatering is crucial at the early stages. Enjoy your grow, peace!

A bit early indeed but you all good, she should be straight by now Try bending the top part of the plant (when she has around 3,4 nodes) works better with strains that aren't small and bushy, the goal is to make the 2 branches (future bud sites) at each nodes grow longer than would normally do if no LST Each time the top part of the plant come back straight bend it again on the side to make plant understand she should focus some of her energy in lateral banches :) I like to use those garden wires to bend and keep the stem in place, not much experience with those clips you use but should do the job

The plant will counter your attack and return sraigt up. If this is what you want to acchieve, go for it. But you can also try bending down the middle shoot, to propagate the lower ones... or spred the crown to get more area coverd by your plant. I like your enthusiasm starting trying with the first node ;)

LST is simply about manipulating apical dominance. Highest growth generally gets more resources and grows faster -- primary vs secondary branching is part of that calculation too. Growth should spread out along the horizontal stretchin of stem... bend things down temporarily to allow other branches to catch up as needed. With an autoflower, i wouldn't top. You have an unknown legnth of vegetative growth, so i'd shoot for ~7 primary branches and let the top start to grow vertically -- it will catch up if behind a bit, too.. so let the other growth get a few inches ahead of the top cola before letting it grow vertically. Secure that branch to remain horiztontal up until that point. If you don't tie down the end, it will curve upward shortly after your plant bender. Those lowest 2 axilla tend to be trash, i'd pinch those off before they waste resources. Since you'll have to tie down the end to keep it horizontal for a while, anchor the base of trunk to opposite side to avoid putting stress on the roots. it'll cause resistance as it tries to grow upward, which can make it lurch in the soil and potentially tear some finer roots. Just bending branches outward is good enough for autoflowers. This LST might get you a slightly lower portion of larf at bottom, but overall they yield will be what it is, regardless. They are typicalyl small palnts. you don't need to do much but spread them out as they grow. Since you can only guess as to how much vege time you have, it's also more difficult to level everything out.. if you guess wrong the apical meristem (the 'trunk') will either surpass the rest or not catch up...

No, but you should anker top too, never let leaves touch soil, plan were branches will go snd how to maximize top running around pot for all branches to have space ... its a lot of preplaning , daily maintenance, review of ties, tucking of leaves, exposing side branches to light and so on ... Now you achieved almost nothing, just one bend in stem, which will go up soon ... More work should be done !

What's your plan with this grow? Normaly you top after node 3-4 and sart training the branches Not the whole plant exept that's what you're aiming for a 90ยฐ Bent plant? Remove that Clip and wait til you can top her.
