Defoliation for light penetration?

Hey guys, Just wondering if I should defoliate a bit. I've experimented with starting LST early, and I'm doing the spiral method to keep the canopy low and bushy. Should I be defoliating to improve light to covered tops? You can see how dense the plant is.

defoliate only a week or so before you flip , this lady's a bit small plus you're doing rather extreme LST meaning the growth is gonna be that much slower. take your time and let the plant do it's job, that's my best advice. 🚀

hi friend, i am in your same situation. if you want you can check my diary. I think that I will wait for the plant to be stronger before proceeding with the defoliation, the autoflowering plants may have too much stress in my opinion if defoliated during the first days of LST. i am newbie friend, so wait the opinion of other people. :)
