The week went uneventful the plant is doing what it's supposed to be doing. The wifey is doing a great job in taking care of the plant while im travelling. Introduced Hess's PK 13/14 from the last feeding. PPM remained flat at 900 and will now gradually increase the PK 13/14 over the next weeks. Looks pretty good from what I can tell by the pictures I received. Still a bit of tip burn so, will decrease the base nutrients a little as well over the next few weeks.

The first 3 finger leaves are coming so I'm counting Vegitag#1 as of today, anything before 3 fingers has always been the seedling stage for me. It is now in the 4.5L pot where it can spread and strengthen its roots for a while before it goes into the 30L fabric pot. At the moment, until Vegitag #21, the little lady is only getting Soil Activating Hesi PowerZyme 2ml/L& Hesi Root Complex 5ml/L. I add Biobizz Calmag from Vegitag #1 in a preventative dose until rinsing. Starting with 0.3mlL, then increasing with 0.2ml per week of the vegiphase. The irrigation water has a pH of 6.5, so all nutrients can be absorbed by the plant in this phase. I'm happy for everyone who has stopped by and good luck to all participants. 4202024 or backwards, it’s 4202024. I’m sure there will be other palindromic dates in future, but this is the one and only stoner palindrome date that can happen in our lifetimes. Thanks to Seedsman for the idea of a 420 grow-off and the chance to try some of the latest and greatest. Anyway, started some Blueberry Pie F1 Fast seeds from Seedsman today. Very promising sounding genetics, and I’m very keen to see how she goes. Hopefully we won’t get as much wildfire smoke as we did last year. The plan for this plant is a 16 cola manifold with force flowering (12 h darkness) starting in late July for a couple of weeks. Starting in a glass of water on a heat mat at 25 C. Kept in dark using foil. I’ve decided to avoid plastic for the seed starting. Also, based on a science paper I saw this winter, I’m leaving a ripe apple in the dark with the seeds. Apparently the ethylene gas helps, but only in the dark before light is applied. Tried it with tomato and pepper plants and seems to work. First time trying with my cannabis seeds. Will add the reference to the paper some day. Apr 22: moved into soil. Starting three seeds but I only have room for one plant. Will adopt out the other two. Apr 25: removed foil cover (and apple) and set the plants beside the light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. The seedlings need minimal light at this stage so taking it easy. All getting top heavy, had to tie alot of them up. Buds are nice and dense and have taken well to the nutrients in the past few weeks. 2week ripen and flush starting 7/2/21. Nice frosty buds on all of them and my favourite plant still standing out has to be the zkittles OG. On the other hand the do si dos smells like it packs a punch! Update 11/2/21- will be flushing for 5more days then leaving in darkness for 3days before chop.

This week these ladies have blown up as you can tell one is a bit bigger then the other and one is shorter as her sister is exploding lol. Loving these 8 gallon self wicking pots from @grotechgarden Thanks so much for these amazing genetics 420 fast buds!

Not very dense buds but stickier than hell with a great smell. Pretty much all that Mephisto says it is in their description.

I’ve added recharge to the plants to boost growth and they responded well, there’s one LSD-25 that isn’t getting as much growth out of her and seems to be very small. The Purple Lemonade has started to show signs of pre-flower development but the LSD-25’s continue to veg out. I’ve added pasture raised egg shells to my medium for more calcium to be available for the plants

Buds are fattening and getting frostier. Figured I would do a little flyover to give a better idea of size. Hopefully a harvest next week. Until then! 🌱🌳🔥💨

April 18: Thank you MSNL seeds for the package i germinated as soon they got here 😄 So i start with 2 strains in my small tent, then when the 4x4 is free i will pump it full too with all of these for a few crops, cheers April 23: they both above ground now April 20: the seeds have roots and are now planted in 2 liter pots

Week 1 of the flower/transition is in the books and so far, so good. After chopping out all but the best branches from each plant we flipped the light cycle and dropped some more clones in to the aerocloner. I am so done with this run of genetics but still can’t deny quality cuts when they’re available. Again, if there was a run to test out this new system with it’s definitely this one. We’ve been plagued by calmag, nute burn, nute def. across all of em at some point over the last 8 months. But since incorporating the Druid nutes - all of Em have been perfect👌. This should be a prefect opportunity to see exactly what kind of buds each of these strains throws out👍. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. They were supposed to be a clone run for pollination but the mothers all reveg’d due to a timer incident and high stupidity. These will be the inaugural flowering run of the revamped dutchy system. Growing made easy😉. Shit ton of finagling and setup but once she’s ready - sit back, relax and watch em grow😍😎. Thanks for take’n a look.

Finally back to it!

Deleafed on D75 and put in darkness for 2days. Chopped and hung in tent for 9 days. Smoked up a fair bit before weighing so easily would of been over 3oz dry which was pretty surprising considering the problems. Bud has a strong fuel taste and smell with a little fruitiness.

Hey now! So after 8 days of drying, and 6 days of curing, I just tried the Sour Diesel in a glass water pipe, and she is freaking amazing. She burns nice and slow, with thick clouds of smoke, and tastes exactly like she should, like a sour/citrus/fuel with a very nice aftertaste. I ended up with less than 20% of wet weight, but I am so ecstatic with the quality, I could freaking care less! I have a fantasy football draft on Saturday night, and I can't wait for the rest of my league to sample her! I had so much fun with this grow, from constructing the watering/draining system, to learning more about photography and video, to meeting everyone in this community, and finally to smoking Nugs that I actually grew! Critical x Animal cookies is growing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She got a solution change today. She has sone nice frosty colas growing. She is mid bulking now. Every thing is looking good at the moment. Hello Diary, White Widow has finished its fourth week of flowering, 7 weeks have passed since the beginning of the vegetation. Now I can already say that we are slowly approaching the end, from next week I will be painting her on a black background. What can I say, White Widow looks great. The flowers are very hard to the touch although they are not that big if I compare them to her roommates on the "Farm". Although smaller in volume, the flowers bend the branches slightly downwards with their weight. The main cola rises above the branches, the flowers on it are hard as a rock and full of trichomes. The smell is now very intense, when I open the grow box, the smell takes over the whole room. The leaves are a healthy green color, it is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job. The conditions on the Farm are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is below 50%. Watering is still almost every two days, they still require a lot of water. I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. I am very happy to see how White Widow looks, all three plants on the Farm have far exceeded my expectations. White Widow has responded nicely to my efforts to provide her with the best conditions I can. Here is a quick overview of the past week. 06/09/2024 - Day 44. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer and lowered the p.H. to 6.0. With that amount of water I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 08/09/2024 - Day 46. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier. 10/09/2024 - Day 48. Watering. Same procedure. 11/09/2024 - Day 49. End of the 7th week from the beginning of the vegetation, or the fourth week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. White Widow - Day 49. - 69 cm.
