Welcome to my Ztrawberry Diary, sponsored by Green House Seeds & Mars Hydro.
Veg Days 29-42 weeks 5&6.
Went all good for the whole of wk 5 more or less. Stable progressive growth. Coming into wk 6. Drastically went down hill. Looked all droopy.
1st possible fix:Tried leaving and letting her dry out but she wasn't bouncing back. Just throwing of hunger signs.
2nd: looked at any possible defs. They're none, bar some light green from me letting her dry up some.
3rd: PH swings. Dif in water/fert feeds has never really been an issue for me. As my tap falls in 6.6-6.7. Just tested again. And to my surprise. It tested 6.9 and ppm dropped to 90.
So, took out my AHFH PH grow- and adjusted 1 water feed to 5.7 and walla. She's back. Standing up properly. Seems to be out of trouble. Am going to ph my water from now on, or at least until it falls back into 6.7 range. When nutes are added. It drops down to 6. So, if I can keep water/fert feeds around that. I shouldn't have any more issues with this girl. Ph wise, anyways. Coming to end of wk 6. I'm going to let her finish eating what's left in her pot. And will then be adding biobloom organic powder from GHF. And she'll be sat under my SP or FC 3000 come the end of this month. She'll be flipped using my SP 3000 so I might just finish her under that. Or maybe both. Prepped her lightly by removing some fan leafs that I feel, the shoots above will be able to hold their own. There is an awful lot of space between internodes. This is down to her lacking vital fixes not met at the right time. Of struggled to get what was needed. And, the amount of shoots from her suffered for it. She's very thin.
Thanks to my sponsors from GreenHouseSeeds/Mars Hydro. Much appreciated to the reps and everybody from these brands that bring us these great strains/products.
And to all who viewed, liked and/or commented. Thanks for dropping by. Look forward to seeing your own grows. Either way, thanks for your attention and views. Much respect to my fellow growers, keep it Green and stinky.
Woot woot! Love ghs and Mars! Congrats on the sponsorship. I’ll be watching and supporting, growing some ghs myself - first time!
We all run outta room so fast, it’s funny. Much luck on your grow!
@NorthEquinoix, cheese Pal..well I've 6 GHS strains. Pulp fiction, ztrawbwrry, kings tart, alienz, kush mint x gelato 41 and Damn Sour. If you'd like some seeds. Let me know.
Bonne chance, je vous souhaite que tout se passe au mieux.
Vous avez une idée du sol idéal que je pourrais utiliser pour faire pousser des variétés hybride de GHS ? ( en utilisant les engrais minéraux GHF )
.@Hou_Stone, part 2, keep getting blocked trying to write. So, yes, a light mix will be best. If you get 1, I am trying a new 1. Looks good has worm castings in it for good root/seedling growth and has no/little EC value. Pro Mix Plagron
@Hou_Stone,@Hou_Stone, hey buddy, sry only seen this now. As you're growing in soil. And using the Mineral line. That's more Geared Towards coco and water. As when you mix them with water, "The Powders" the PH value always tends to linger around the 6 mark. As this is the ideal or near It for coco/hydros. So if you're gonna use soil with the mineral line. I suggest a light mix "as most light mixes are mainly coco based" and can deal with a much less lighter PH. a good Ratio of soil or coco will also work. But if its not light mix. Your soils producer will give you the core values of its PH and, gen its best to stay within those lines for fast optimal growth at the beginning. These nutrients take really well to PH adjustment.
