Week 3 (27-10 to 2-11) 27-10 Watering: Both 25 ml. 28-10 Watering: Biscotti #1 42 ml Biscotti #2 50 ml 29-10 Watering: Biscotti #1 37 ml Biscotti #2 40 ml 30-10 Watering: Both 350 ml. The ladies are growing very well, and the leaves turned a little yellow, so I decided to transplant them to 5L pots. I added 1.75 grams of Micro Vita to 5L of Plagron Lightmix. I also finally got a bigger tent, which took quite a long time. I would have liked to start this grow earlier, but because I needed a larger tent first, I unfortunately had to postpone it. This does mean that the ladies don't have too long to grow, because the POWER BUDS contest closes at the end of January, and the Biscotti needs 56/63 days (2 months) to flower. At the end of November, they really have to be in bloom, otherwise they wont finish in time. The ladies are now in their new home. Setup: Mars Hydro 3'x3'x6' with a 4 inch Inline Duct Fan and Carbon Filter Combo with Thermostat Controller, Spider Farmer SE3000 300W light, and a Secret Jardin Oscilating Clip Fan. 31-10 Watering: None. 1-11 Watering: Both 333 ml. 2-11 Watering: None.

Do you prefer a grow diary with pictures from each day, or pictures from just one day a week? This is not a serious grow question but I really like to hear your opinion.

I like every day better. Even more so if it's from the same angle. Watching plants recover quickly from LST is one of the most satisfying things I've ever seen. Besides, anybody who prefers one a week doesn't need to scroll through additional pictures.

Week 4 (3-11 to 9-11) 3-11 Watering: Both 340 ml. (0.1 ml Sugar Royal per litre) As you can see the leaves are turning yellow. I found out that my PH pen was not working properly anymore, so i think the yellowing is because a incorrect PH. I bought the Aquamaster P110 Combo pen, it measures the PH, EC, and water temperature. It has digital callibration aswell. So far i am very happy with this investment. 4-11 Watering: None. 5-11 Temperature: 22.4 degrees (lights on) 19 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 54% (lowest) Watering: None. 6-11 Temperature: 22.6 degrees (lights on) 19 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 54% (lowest) Watering: Both 340 ml. Older leaves have brown/red rusty spots and looks like dying tissue in between the veins. Burnt tips, and yellowing leaves. The soil was really dry and my PH meter was 0.4 too high. I gave each plant 3L of water with EC: 0.0 PH: 6.4 to check runoff. Runoff was PH: 6.1 EC: 0.8

PH is fine well within the range for plants to uptake nutrients. ....[][][].... It looks like it had some Nitrogen toxicity but if the runoff is 0.8EC then it is now gone. .....[][][]..... If this is from your diary of Biscotti Feminized, sugar royal + CaMg and Silica is not a complete feed, it needs something with a more rounded out profile. all the macros and micros are needed when growing in a soilless medium like coir or peat. You need to still use grow and or bloom nutrients and if they don't have micros in it add in a micro based nutrients. ....[][][].... from the looks of it it is deficient in Ca and maybe some K issues. Also might be a small amount of micro deficiencies . Fix the feed and give it a good water with min 10% runoff. ....[][][].... Good Luck!

PH: 6.5 EC: 0.0 Today i took some bueatifull pictures with the flashlight, i found out that the Biscotti #2 has 2 buds growing in one bud 😮 As the plants have some leaf problems, i decided to check the runoff. I am aware that i gave the plants too little water, i totally didnt pay enough attention because i was too busy this month. I gave both plants 3000 ml of water, with PH: 6.5 EC: 0.0 and got a small glass of runoff. Runoff Biscotti #1: PH: 6.1 EC: 1.1 Runoff Biscotti #2: PH: 6.2 EC: 0.8 I dont know how accurate this test is, as i think its a bit weird that the runoff PH is lower then the water PH i gave. I thought the runoff PH would be higher as my PH pen was 0.4 too high. I am going to do some research about this.

Next watering i will only give them water without nutrients. 10-1 Temperature: 24.5 degrees (lights on) 17.4 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 62% (highest) 46% (lowest) Watering: None. 11-1 Temperature: 24.1 degrees (lights on) 18 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 63% (highest) 47% (lowest) Watering: None.

Week 17. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Very satisfied with this strain, the girls grew very fast. Even tho i had some leaf problems, she grew enormous good smelling buds that are very sticky when touched. She smells a bit like moss, but at the same time you smell some sweet and caramel/honey notes, she tastes like it smells, but without the moss smell. It should be a indica dominant, and with indica's i feel very sleepy and want to sit on the couch, but with this pheno i feel more energetic, happy and uplifted, it makes me want to do stuff. One of my 2 plants was a mutant and grew a flat stem, i have never seen something like this before, so it was quite a surprise, and a funny journey to see how it grew its way to the end of her life cycle. One more funny thing is that i see a lot of coffee shops in Amsterdam that sells Biscotti aswell and it tastes quite the same, so thats a good thing in my opinion haha.

Week 16 (Harvest) 1-2 Drying day 1 Temperature: 24.5 to 19.5 degrees Humidity: 65% to 50% The girls are ready to be harvested! Before chopping them down, i took a lot of pictures. I was able to remove most of the soil from the Biscotti #2 to see the rootball. I hang the plants as a whole to have a slow dry. The exhaust fan is on setting 4. 2-2 Drying day 2 Temperature: 19.1 to 17.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 57% I changed the exhaust fan to setting 2 because setting 4 was a bit high in my opinion. 3-2 Drying day 3 Temperature: 19.9 to 18 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked up on the drying plants, and i see there are some buds touching other buds, so i chopped the plants in half. The buds are still to the main stem for a slow dry, but are hanging more spreaded out to prevent any budrot issues. I changed the exhaust fan to setting 1, as someone told me that it was enough air movement for drying. 4-2 Drying day 4 Temperature: 19.8 to 18.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% 5-2 Drying day 5 Temperature: 19.9 to 18.8 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked on the drying plants and the buds are shrinking a bit, they are getting a little bit crispy on the outside aswell, I hope they wont dry as fast, and i aim for a 12/14 day dry. For the next grow i already germinated 2x Chemdog (GreenHouseSeeds) 2x Gorilla Kush (GanjaFarmerSeeds) and 1x Deep Candy CBD (GreenHouseSeeds) And I have some upgrades planned aswell! I bought a autopot kit with 4 15L pots, this way the plants will have water and air 24/7 whenever they need it. I have seen alot of great results using autopots so i am very exited to try it out! And I bought a small camera so i can shoot some weekly timelapses! Feel free to Follow me if you like to get notified for the upcoming diaries! Thanks for checking out this diary, peace! (More harvest updates coming in the next couple of days!) Huge thank you to Zamnesia for the seeds, and Plagron for the collection of nutrients, and the opportunity to participate in the POWERBUDS contest! It was a fun and learningful adventure!

Hi buddy. Watch out your soil mix nutrients ability. Yellow leaves shows some nutrients blocking because other nutrients is too much. My advice if you wish to use nutrients then start with ph balanced clear water and when leaves will start showing some signs then only start using nutrients. In blooming stage start to use nutrients us soon start develop nugs. Have a nice harvest buddy.

@Cando, Thanks for your message. I think the yellowing leaves are because my PH was incorrect. I found out that my PH meter was not working properly, so i bought a new one thats a bit more expensive. In my understanding the tips of the leaves will get burnt if there are too much nutrients in the soil. I still give the same nutrients and they are doing very well 😁

@Breadandbuds, Thanks brother! Sadly i am experiencing leaf problems and i am afraid this will make the chances of winning the contest very low :(

ze gaat mooi, let wel op je vocht van je aarde hij lijkt hier en daar wat droog, als het te droog word neemt het slecht water op, je had toch een vochtmeter?

I indeed need to water some more frequently, i gave her 2 liters every 4 or so days, and the soil was very dry with the next watering. I do indeed have a soil humidity meter, but i think i am going to buy some more and let them sit in the soil, instead of poking the soil eveytime haha
