Grow Log – Week 5 Day 29 – 31: Entering the Flowering Phase Week 5 marked the start of the flowering phase. The plants were transitioning beautifully, with the first signs of buds starting to form. I kept the light cycle unchanged, maintaining a steady routine to avoid any stress on the plants. However, I did focus on lowering the humidity to create an ideal environment for flowering. The plants responded well, showing steady vertical growth and the early development of bud sites. Day 32: Spotting Some Yellow Leaves On day 32, I noticed a few yellow leaves starting to appear. It wasn’t widespread, but enough to catch my attention. I decided to monitor it closely and plan to address it in the coming week. It could be an early sign of nutrient deficiency or a response to the environmental changes as the plants entered the flowering phase. Day 33 – 34: Vertical Growth and Bud Formation Despite the yellow leaves, the plants continued to grow vigorously. They were stretching upwards each day, with the buds developing nicely. The structure created from the earlier topping was now proving beneficial, as the multiple growth points were all developing buds. The plants were looking strong and healthy, aside from the minor yellowing. Day 35: Monitoring and Adjustments As the week drew to a close, I kept a close eye on the plants, monitoring the yellow leaves and overall plant health. The humidity levels were being managed better, and the plants seemed to be settling into the flowering phase. The buds were getting more defined, and the plants continued to grow taller and fuller. Overall Progress Week 5 was a pivotal week, marking the transition into the flowering phase. The plants showed good vertical growth and bud formation, despite the appearance of some yellow leaves. The unchanged light cycle and adjusted humidity were helping to create a favorable environment for flowering. Next week, I’ll address the yellow leaves and make any necessary adjustments to the nutrient regimen. The plants are looking promising, and I’m excited to see how they develop as the flowering phase progresses. This Sunset Sherbet grow is moving into an exciting stage, and I’m eager to see the buds really start to bulk up in the coming weeks.
