How long should I wait before switching to a 12 hour light schedule for a cutting? I only have one space. I accidentally broke off a stem so now I'm getting it to root. Thanks :)

Hi @DigiDom, your clone will need to develop roots before being able to stretch and flower. So you'll need at least 4-8 days in water then 10-20 days in the medium of your choice. A root-specific fertilizer may help you to speed up this process. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date, and happy growing 👊

Ya man, I cut- root- plant to final pot- it takes 7-10 untill it has a well established root system and can be flowered- but short won't yield much from one clone- such veg times are used with SOG and multiple plants at once, so if you don;t want to waste time, energy, nutes etc- let her grow longer... Best luck

You should wait until the cutting has grown into a plant of its own, with multiple nodes, etc. Its basically a new plant that should treated as such. Good luck! 👍

Hello @DigiDom! Well pretty much when it has roots you can switch it to flower . In the past i used to transplant them at 1 L fabric pots as soon as they had roots and switch them to 12/12 ( a sog technique ). The outcome was a plant with one huge cola around 30-35 grams. Happy growing ! 👊
