Does anyone else get a brown film around the water line in your reservoir? I have never had a problem using maxibloom but received Two pints of A+B advance nutrients. I also see this when using floranova. Could anyone shed some light on this. Tap water starts 5.5 ph slowly raises

Doesn't seem like too big of an issue. It sounds like on of the nutrients you are using is separating over time and creating a thin layer over the surface. As long as you are not premixing your nutrients for too long and keeping a cover over the reservoir you should be ok from the majority of problems. If you are worried about this still come the next reservoir swap I suggest a quick cleaning.
