This is my second Blue Dream Auto grow. In both cases, no branching occurred. Is it common for Autos to produce only one cola?

Hello ! I would not say it's common but it happens sometimes. It could be due to the pot size ( when the roots of an auto have hit the bottom of the pot the autos plants are no longe to start the flowering process) , it could also be due to the light schedule : yours is 12/12 outside but maybe you have around 8 to 10 direct sunlight on your plants. The last thing could be the genetic : maybe you have a fast phenotype. But in your case the flowering process have just begins so you can expect your secondary stems to grow a bit bigger until the end. I hope it will help you 😁👍

Your auto is still fairly young, development wise. Keep in mind, that they start their flowering once they fully open their 5th pair of leaves and those hairs are preflowers. Left unTOPed autos will develop a strong main cola and secondary weaker side shoots (depending on strain). Anyway, you can see baby side shoots, but since it was not topped, they probably will not develop or barely do so.
