I bought perlite. How much should I add in percentage to my soil?

Is "land" = to potted soil or actually in the ground outside?
Never use perlite in outdoor ground, as some your soil(with perlite) will just wash away.
If it is potted, follow Lilau recommendation.

Soil recommendation? Typically use Fox Farms Happy Frog but price keeps going up and quality seems much lower, lots of sticks, not mixed well etcIs there any soil recommendations anyone can make that are good but a less pricey? Maintaining the soil pHI give pH'ed water, never more than 800ppm and I still always end up with lockouts. I used to not give water untill runoff but now I do. What to do after testing the runoff? I got a dehumidifier to regulate and keep the humidity in 50%.
When i opend the deposit of the water of the dehumifier i found these little flies that are the classic Substrate fly (nasty but no harm).
Do yall think that the dehumidifier got them? Has this even happened to U6y ago

Lightening Soil - Coco Coir or Perlite?I think my soil is a bit heavy and could have better drainage. Should I add more perlite or some coco coir for my next garden? My base is Biobizz Light-Mix. I have 2 cm of clay pebbles at the bottom of the pot and I don't have a saucer under the pot.
Is it normal for the roots to show through the holes? What is it due to?

Ph of the soilPh of the soil, I checked with this 2 ph meter but I dont know the credibility, if that work.. I see that is around 8.0 but I use water at 6.0ph and soil light mix biobizz, bio grow ,calmag , bio heaven. Are biology shouldn't change the ph.. how is possible? Advise?
