Hello fellow growers. I want your guys opinion on flushing when growing in soil. Is it better to water 3x the amount of your potsize? (Usually 2 flushes in 2 weeks) Or just cut out nutrients and water regularly? So watering till drainage every other day for 2 weeks.

That depends on how you feed. If you feed on the strong side, then by all means flush. If on the other hand you feed sparingly and low doses, then just cut the nutes and give plain water 1 or 2 weeks.

I think flushing for 1 week with good drainage/runoff is good if you're not over feeding the plant. I know some people who really bulk in the nutrients towards the end and therefore wind up with a lot of excess. Since there will still be a fair amount of nutrients making their way through the roots and leaves, i feel like a week of at least 3-4 waterings will get all the buildup from the soil without full on starving the plant. Happy harvesting, great colors on the plant. ✌️

i used to be a three week plain water "flush" kinda guy but then i did for two weeks and got good / better results just watering plain water until runoff. Thing is the "big flush" does help to get the nutrients out of the soil but it also shocks the plants through overwatering basically and why shock a lady so close to the finish line you know ? anyway just my personal experience, hope this helps ! 🚀
