Defoliation soon after Supercropping
bigbud1080
started grow question 6y ago
I am thinking of defoliating my Blue Cheese. I supercropped it about a week ago and the growth is powering. I want to do some defoliation but I am unsure if it is necessary, or if it is too soon after supercropping.

Defoliation, my friend, is needed to prevent high humidity and let other plants be enlightened. Otherwise it is just harming in vain.

So I have been reading a lot online about defoliation. Some say do it some say don’t. Plant seems happy and flowers look to be growing well. Should I do it is it worth it?

I'm going into flowering stage soon and was wondering about defoliation of the lower leaves after doing some LST - stretching out branches horizontally... Should I remove the lower leaves, focus on the bud sites access to light?

How much to defoliate now
I know I should defoliate, but I am nervous about where, how much. I trimmed every day in veg to make it bushy, now I should cut it all off? I don't want to mess up now????

Is periodic, light defoliation ok for autoflowers?
Hi Growmies! As a beginner, I decided to leave one plant untrained, but I am noticing some large fan leaves preventing light from reaching lower branches. Is it ok (or beneficial) to periodically remove a large fan leaf if it is blocking light? I hear autos are tricky.

Defoliation of all large fan leaves
When defoliating is it ok to remove all of the large fan leaves? I have read conflicting reports in some cases stating that it will stress the plants and even reduce yeild rather than increase? Any links that include pics would be appreciated. Thanks to all of you

Harvest is just days away and i am still unsure what to do. Please give me your best advise on cutting and drying. Should i cut and hang the whole plant or individual branches? Trim fan leaves immediately or wait? How long do i hang it to dry? What about the popcorn and shake?

I was moving the plant and it fell on the floor. Luckly I catch it in mid fall, so the plant hadn't got any damage, but a lot of soil finished on the colas. I tried to clean them but they remain a bit dirty, because they are very sticky. How can I clean them?

I’m about to go into week 3 flower in 3 days. My plants it seems have been less focused on stretch for the past couple days, more on growing the colas I would say. would start week 3 be a good time to do heavy defolia/lollypop?

I flipped these to flower 8 days ago. 2 days ago I gave them 1/2 strength feeding of G.O. Go Box according to their feed schedule. I noticed that the new growth seems more yellow and droopy. Also, for 3 weeks the NL plant (bottom right) is half green half yellow. Any ideas?

This q is for my Candy Cane Auto. I know I likely should have went right into a 3+g pot, instead I used a jiffy puck and a small container with my medium of choice. I decided that I best transplant before she gets too developed. Will she be stunted? They are at day 6, all intact.
