Hello all, nice to be part of the grow diaries group. I encountered a big fungus gnat issue and tried everything from hydrogen peroxide to neem oil and nothing worked.I bought Nema Globe Pot Popper Organic Indoor Fungus Gnat and would like to know if it’s bad for my plants?

try bacilus thuriengiensis and a layer of sand on top of your pots, should be under control if not completely gone in a couple of weeks. Hope this helps ! 🚀

No, they won't hurt your plants there actually beneficial in this case they'll hunt down and kill fungus gnat larvae in the soil but are completely safe for people, pets, and plants.

Never heard of it but you should start bottom feeding your plants and get some killers in there.Iv just had this issue so will tell you the name of the killers after.Loads and loads of sticky trap as well. You won't get rid of them but you should be reasonable level. Its the babies that feed on the roots that the problem.Stratiolaelaps Scimitus predatory mites. The company Dragonfli sell them on ebay for £10 but that's enough for loads of pots and I only have 6 so used half then half 2wks later.I emailed them and they told me to use them all at once then buy some more, lol. But they can be kept for 4wks?Good salemen.I see the odd one flying around my bedroom now and a few when a open the door but its to be expected with soil grown organics.Top dressing your pots with something like coco once most of the veg period is over and bottom feeding all helps.
