Brown spots!

Finedakine
Finedakinestarted grow question 3 years ago
Not sure if it's calcium deficiency anymore. I feed her 5x the suggested dose of cal-mag a few days ago and the problem is a little worse I think. The brown spots are spreading but only on the top leaves near the buds. No lower or shaded leaves are affected.

I agree with oreganoman to me looks like maybe manganese but I wouldn’t be adding 5x the dose if they don’t need it . An over load like that can hurt the plant from the other nutrients she needs

You can not solve any problem, only create them, by giving 5x the dose recommended. The problem occurred slowly, the cure must also occur slowly. I don't think it is a cal/mag problem, but an iron deficiency, which is a trace element and is why only the top leaves are affected. Give your plant a dose or two, at the recommended rate, of a soluble trace element mix, available at any garden centre, and I am sure this problem will go away quite quickly. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Feeding 5x anything to help your plants is the wrong solution. I suggest next feeding do a 30% runoff and test the ph&ppm of it. That is a good start to help you figure out the situation.

The rust spots are PH. You are doing a beautiful job with that lady! Calmag is acidic (at least the brand I use). Give her a few straight water feeding and get the EC and runoff Ph—- that will give you an idea of where she needs to be food wise…. Good luck! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Yes. PH issues can fool you into thinking it is deficient due to calcium being locked out if out of range. Your pH in your soil should be 5.8 - 7. 6.5 is ideal
