Yes but you haveto have deep pockets look to spend a minimum of 500 to a max of 1500 lights in these price ranges tend to compete with hps though I would always take a LED of HPS for three reasons heat, spectrum and cost to run. LED far out weigh hps in terms of life a ballast can last a long time but will fail eventully an led light will last for 50,000 hours plus some even give you warrentee for that time which is stress free growing if it does fail you simply get a new unit this when teed up with replacing bulbs and ballasts with hps and being a better light to grow making your plants healthier which will increase your yields probably more than the light itself. Light is an important thing in a grow dont get me wrong but there are also a huge array of other things to consider too.

Yes and no. LED is more energy efficient, but led you need to even out your canopy, The light they give off degrades very quickly with distance. So a MH or HPS will provide more light to the middle/lower canopy then an led. so Yes - if your training your plant and keeping a even canopy No - if your doing very little training and have bud sites throughout the whole plant.

LED's are way more eficient then the rest, they don't loose so much energy through heat. Anything modern, qb or cob, Will give you same or more production i guess... Finnished my first indoor a couple of months ago and got 1,2g/w with cobs, knowing zero about indoor growing. Great quality too by the way😉

Look for led that calls for c02 along side those lights. They will produce near to hps lighting
