Hi growers Can I put a keramzit ( clay balls) on the top of the plant or put some wood straw? Is it good idea or no? Thanks for the answer.

Hi there, short answer : yes! This will retain humidity and help to keep a warm soil. Highly recommended when growing outside! Keep up the good work, your setup is beautiful! I'll be around, good luck ;-)

Some growers do this and its not a bad idea, of course you can. By ontop, I mean over the soil.

how to deal with watering plants while on holiday? I will be gone for 1 week, 1 plant is in 8L the other in 20L coco/perlite 70:30 mix. They will roughly be 3 weeks into flower when i'm away, i've considered using 6-8 ceramic water spikes hooked up to a 5L bottle. any ideas? thxWeek 5

1. some middle fan leaves are getting sick (week 8, pict 6+7 named trouble #1)
2. four bottom fan leaves died out but i think it is too soon (2nd flowering week) for the plants to start consuming energy from leaves (week 8, pict 8+9 named trouble #2)

Pruning damaged leaveWhile my plant was acclimating one leave that stayed on the pot have been burnt due the intensity of the sun(my pot is grey so absorbs very much heat and light)
I have to prune that leave or just let it go..
