I was wondering what your thoughts are on defoliation. She is very bushy and hitting the edges of my tent now. 1. How much to take off 2. Pics of what she should look like after. Both of the above would be very helpful to me. This is my first auto grow so being cautious

Right now I think your going to do more harm than good. You want to wait until the pre-flower has finished before defloating. Then you want to pull off all the fluff at bottom and around the base of the stock... If you want to give bit more light to the branches tie a string around your pot. Then tie the branches, and fasten to the pot. Don't stress the branches just a bit to spread the light. Cheers.

Thanks all. I've gone with a mixture of the answers. Spread her out a bit by tying down the branches and also removed some leaves from the centre of plant. You can just about see the soil from the top down now. Lets see how she does.

Hi mate, as an only autoflower grower, I would suggest when the flowering starts just pull down a little the branches so light could get in all the buds. Imo you should let autos do their stuff and dont interfere with the plant.

Hey buddy check out my lately grows (I suggest Orange Sherbet and Wedding Cheesecake) to see some of my defoliation work. You can definitely go heavy on your green crack at this stage, to provide maximum light penetration for your bud sides and lower branches. The sativa-dominant strains by Fastbuds love it! Take off as many fan leafs as required so that none of the bigger buds gets blocked in any way!
