Looking for a detailed dry and cure method. I keep asking so I can get more opinions. Was thinking of just using my grow tent for the dry. Hang up side down until dry with temps at 70 to 65. Humidity should stay at a 45 to 50 with help of my ac infinity. Opinions??

Hi @Visions! Yeah, hanging the stems upside down in your grow tent can be a perfect drying process! But you need to control your RH (~50%) and have a continuous temp (20-22°C / 68-72°F). Harvest before the light turns on, for maximum potency & terpenes. Terpenes and THC are degraded by light and heat during the daytime. Keep your trim wastes to make some canna-butter or bubble hash. Also when trimming, take a break every 10 minutes to remove the glue/hash/stigmas from your scissors, this will be your first joint, you can smoke it while trimming! Depending on your environment and weather conditions you might need to increase or decrease the relative humidity, you can use a mister (to increase) or a dehumidifier (to decrease), be warned that a good dehumidifier is quite expensive. Jars are the best way to cure, but don't forget to hide them in the dark, once again light will damage your product. Be very careful about your drying process, check your buds everyday and don't rush it or you will ruin your final product. Too-long drying on the other hand can lead to mold/bud-rot issues, this is why a daily inspection is more than required. Once buds seem dry, put everything in jars for the curing process (grandma's glass jars are perfect), keep on watching the buds frequently, mold can corrupt and destroy your product very quickly, you just need to open the jars 5mins everyday and move the buds for a close inspection + air freshening. Finally, act as a cooker with its fresh products : try a bit of your product whenever you think it's ready, your smoker's skills will help in setting up the perfect curing process! Hope these advices will help you, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊

Ive tried a few curing methods, and i most time come back to my clothes rack... Iam washing the branches with bicarbonate, and trim them wet. after that i hang the whole branches on my clothes rack and let them predy on y well cilmated place ( livingroom)where its not to warm/ cold or to moist...( i cover the whole clothes rack and hanging branches with a fresh linen to keep light away.....After 10-14 days if the branches like to snap with a loud carck. Then i debudd them and fill the buds in jars. Those jars i open daily a few times .Or i hang them into a carboaoarbox where i installed strips to hang them. Then i let them there until branches are dry.. after that they went in jars too. these are my favourtite curing methods....

Damn looks like u have some good info. Can I add keep temps at 70 because anything mold loves especially if you are below 65. Humidity is recommended at 50 too. If u can't and your at 40 leave a few sugar leaves on to protect the bud and do a dry trim. But if you can keep temps at 70 and humidity at 50 go ahead and do a wet trim then hang them. You want to shoot for 8 to 10 days hanging anything after 4 days is ok to.

Humidity could be a little higher, but it still should be fine. I like to trim a lot of the big fan leaves off before I hang it, especially if they are sitting on top of a lot of buds towards the middle of the plant..also any damaged ones. I do this because in theory it should make the dry process slower even if you don't have a perfect environment because the fan leaves and stems retain water, so longer dry and it should increase your humidity (dry trim vs wet trim). Suggest a minimum of 7 days, the longer the better and to start trimming them when they have a nice crunch to the bud.. right before the smaller buds can snap by bending them. When they snap that means they are out of water, or close to out and they need some water in the bud for the cure. Cure, I suggest opening jars up twice a day for the first couple days, then once a day for a week or 2. The air is important for the cure because it feeds the all the dudes (microorganisms) that break down the chloroplast and other nasties that lead to a nice smooth smoke. Good luck on your harvest! 👊

Drying must be done slowly... between 58% to 62% and around 18C to 22C, with air moving in the room but not directly on your flowers. The process must take around 15 days. Then stick your flowers into a jar with some 62% Boveda packs.
